Charles Brian Handy CBE (born 25 July 1932) is an Irish author/philosopher specialising in organisational behaviour and management. Among the ideas he has advanced are the “portfolio career” and the “Shamrock Organization” (in which professional core workers, freelance workers and part-time/temporary routine workers each form one leaf of the “Shamrock”).
I met professor Charles Handy and his wife in Isfahan. I liked his theories and enjoyed of his approach. at the end of out meeting, I gave my Khatam-work pen as a gift to him! actually I remembered scientists gave their pen to to brilliant students in “a beautiful mind” film and I thought Persian culture give an artistic gift to a philosopher. His wife was a photographer and I am eager yet to see her photos.
